I used to believe that salvation was simply a ticket to Heaven.
And in many ways, it is.
But over the years, God has been revealing something deeper to me.
A more profound reality about what it truly means to be Born Again.
Being Born Again Is a Language
Before the world was created, I imagine God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit shared a language together. A language so pure, so intimate, so infinite, that only they could fully comprehend it.
I believe that language was called Love.
The beauty and power of this language were so abundant that it couldn’t be contained.
It had to be shared.

And thus, we were created.
But we all know how that story unfolded:
- We failed to love.
- We fell.
- We forgot how to speak the language of God.
Yet Love Himself didn’t give up on us.
God never stopped speaking His language.
Instead, He chose to teach it to us again.
Not through prophets, angels, visions, or dreams,
but the Master Himself came down to Earth to give us the basics.
When the Pharisees asked Jesus which commandment was the greatest, He simply replied:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like this: “Love your neighbor as yourself.””
— Matthew 22:37–39

Do you see a pattern?
It’s Love.
It has always been Love.
Learning to Speak Heaven’s Language Again
So how do we, flawed and finite as we are, learn to speak this divine tongue?
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, He died for us.”
— Romans 5:8
Jesus told Nicodemus that to see the Kingdom of God, one must be born again.
We are all born speaking a native tongue essentially. This is the language of the flesh.
Our fluency is seen in pride, anger, lust, greed, jealousy, and selfishness.
It comes naturally to us.
But when we die to sin and are Born Again, we start afresh.
Like babies learning their first words.
And just as a baby learns to mimic the voice of their parents,
we begin to mimic our heavenly Father.
We learn to speak the language the Father has always spoken with the Son and the Holy Spirit.
When we receive the Spirit of Christ by believing in Him, a new nature is born.
And with that new nature comes a new way of speaking.
What Does It Sound Like?
The language of God isn’t marked by eloquent or flashy words.
It’s spoken through a life overflowing with grace.
When someone is Born Again, the transformation is unmistakable.
They don’t just say different things.
They act differently too.
Let me give you a some examples:
- Someone who once hated others now prays for their enemies.
- Someone who held grudges now forgives the deepest betrayals.
- Someone who lusted now sees people with purity and dignity.
- Someone who envied now rejoices in others’ blessings.
- Someone who once sought revenge now chooses mercy.
This is not the language of Earth.
It is the common tongue of Heaven.
Echoing Heaven’s Voice, Together
To be Born Again is not just to be saved.
It is also to be re-taught how to speak.
How to act.
How to love.
And the first step in learning this heavenly language is to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I love you, reader.
I love you because Christ showed me how to love.
“We love because He first loved us.”
— 1 John 4:19
My hope is that you’ll learn to speak this language with me…Now and forever.

Woww. For He loved us first that we learned what is love..
“Love Himself didn’t give up on us “
Good thoughts John! Thank you for the encouragement…
